Debris Pickup

Coastal Environmental Services will be in our area throughout the week, and possibly Saturday, picking up storm debris. They are asking that residents please be patient as there is plenty of debris throughout the Parish. It may take 2-3 weeks to get everything cleaned up. Thanks for your patience. Green waste piles are not to exceed 4’L x 4’W x 6’H in size and must be bundled. Nothing larger than 12” around Nothing over 50 lbs. Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day Rescheduled Due to the Forecast of Severe Weather Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day— originally scheduled for Saturday, October 26, 2019 — is rescheduled for Saturday, November 23, 2019 as forecasters are predicting possible severe weather. The Town of Abita Springs would like to ask residents to please conserve water this Friday, October 4, 2019. We are making scheduled repairs to the well, on Hwy. 36, including changing a seal, stuffing box and shaft. The Town’s well supplies most residents and businesses in the corporate limits of Abita Springs with water. The repairs are expected to begin at 9:00AM and finish around 4:00PM.
