The Town of Abita Springs received funding from the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Safe Streets & Roads for All (SS4A) grant program. This grant allowed the Town to create a Comprehensive Safety Action Plan, outlining projects and interventions aimed at reducing and eliminating serious injuries and fatal crashes affecting all roadway users: vehicles, transit riders, bicyclists, mobility device users, pedestrians, etc.

Welcome to the Abita Springs Master Plan project website. This project will involve the entire community in a process that will focus on helping the town maximize its potential, while at the same time making sure Abita Springs continues to be the place residents want it to be. Our job is to protect and enhance the Abita Springs community.
