Request for Qualifications – Engineering Consulting Services

The Town of Abita Springs, Louisiana (hereafter referred to as Town), invites interested parties to submit qualifications to provide Engineering & Consulting Services as described in the Scope of Services Section of the RFQ.
The procedures for the selection of this firm will be in accordance with applicable procurement regulations and requirements. All responses will be evaluated in accordance with the noted Selection Criteria.
The Town of Abita Springs will begin contract negotiations immediately following selection of the successful respondent.
Interested parties are invited to submit responses to this Request for Qualifications to the attention of Janet Dufrene.
Responses can be hand delivered or sent via U.S. Postal Service to the Town of Abita Springs, P.O. Box 461, Abita Springs, Louisiana 70420, Attention: Janet Dufrene. The deadline for submittal of all responses is no later than 3:00 P.M., on Friday, November 17, 2023.

Background
The Town of Abita Springs was recently awarded a Safe Streets for All planning grant from the U.S. Department of Transportation. These planning grants provide Federal funds to develop and complete a comprehensive safety action plan. The goal of an Action Plan is to develop a holistic, well-defined strategy to prevent roadway fatalities and serious injuries for all roadway users, pedestrians, and bicyclists in a locality.
