ADVERTISEMENT FOR A PUBLIC HEARING

December 12, 2018

The Abita Springs Planning & Zoning Commission will review the following requests at the December 12, 2018 meeting, which will be held in the Abita Springs Conference Room, at 6:00 pm. All interested parties are welcome to attend this public hearing.

1. The residents of Brookforest Road are petitioning the Planning & Zoning Commission to make a recommendation to the Town Council to amend the Brookforest Ordinance to prohibit Commercial and Non-Commercial Rentals of Guest Cottages and Short Term Rentals of any inhabited or uninhabited dwelling or structures.

2. This is notice of a Public Hearing to consider a recommendation to the Board of Alderman to amend the Town of Abita Springs Code of Ordinances Section 9-215 Residential District to prohibit the short term rental of a single family dwelling and any rental of Guest Cottages and Accessory Buildings.

These items will be reviewed at the Planning & Zoning Meeting scheduled for December 12, 2018, in the Abita Springs Conference room at 6:00PM. All interested parties are welcome to attend.
