Abita Springs will celebrate Independence Day on SUNDAY, JULY 2nd from 5 pm to 10 pm. This years host is the VFW Post 8720 and the Town of Abita Springs will continue to support the event. It will begin with a Flag Retirement Program. There will be lots of food and beverages for sale. We will have the return of the amazing band Supercharger. They are a Northshore-based rock band that has been performing locally since late March 2010. Because of superb musicianship and vocal abilities, Supercharger is able to perform songs that other bands cannot. Patch-a-Thon: Pothole Patching Next Week

The Town of Abita Springs Public Works Department plans to begin patching potholes next Wednesday, June 14, 2017. The Town aims to fill reported potholes on streets, weather permitting. Motorists are advised to be alert and watch for Town crews working on such repairs. Help maintenance crews by slowing down and giving them room to work, and also, by reporting the potholes you discover while driving.

Keller Street Bridge Contract

Construction Proposal Construction Contract Work started week of 5/30/17 and the Keller street bridge is expected to be reopened the week of 6/12/17. Dates subject to change depending on weather.
