*If your property is zoned Historic you will need to get approval from the Historic Commission before applying for a building permit. To confirm the zoning of your property please call (985) 892-0711, option 4.
Meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month at 6:00 PM in the Abita Springs Town Hall, 22161 Level Street.
All historic applications are due 10 days prior to the meeting date.
Important Information
You need a COA to make an changes to your property including but not limited to new construction, remodels, additions, and fences.
