The Abita Springs Planning and Zoning Commission will review the following requests at the March 27, 2019 meeting, which will be held in the Abita Springs Town Hall, at 6:00 pm. All interested parties are welcome to attend this public hearing.
The Planning & Zoning Commission will review a request by Mr. Dupont, 22165 North Street for a front yard variance. Mr. Dupont needs to install a handicap ramp and to enlarge the front porch area of his home to accommodate a wheelchair.
The owners of the Abita Meadows Planned Unit Development are requesting that the Planning & Zoning Commission approve the division the remaining areas of the development into “tracts” in order to allow for the sale of the property to the Developer.
Mr. Moore will seek a rear yard setback variance of 4 feet for the new construction he has planned at the corner of Palmer Street and Minkler Street, otherwise known as Lot 4A Sq. 28 New Abita.
