Weather Warning

The Abita Town Hall is closing early due to the forecasted inclement weather. Our public works department is on call for emergencies.

Please make sure ditches and catch basins are clear so water can drain. Please secure items on your property that could turn into hazardous projectiles.

Emergency Operation Centers (EOC) will be on standby to assist our local emergency services with road clearing if necessary. Call 911 to report blocked roads, and as always, in case of a gas or medical emergency please call 911.

Our offices will reopen Tuesday, April 23rd at 8:00 am after the Easter Holiday.

Please call town hall at (985) 892-0711 if you have a utility emergency and you will be connected with the after hours call center and the correct personnel will be dispatched.
