PUBLIC NOTICE The Town of Abita Springs proposes work that consists of rehabilitation of the existing collection system. The work will be to correct inflow and infiltration issues associated with the existing piping. Smoke testing and closed circuit television inspection will be used to locate the defects. Repairs will be made using cured-in-place pipe liner, point repairs, and/or pipe segment replacement. The proposed work will also include lift station rehabilitation. Work will include, but is not limited to pump replacement, wet well lining, control panel replacement, stand-by generator installation, valve/piping modifications, and installation of SCADA equipment at the lift stations. DOTD trimming trees

DOTD will be trimming trees on Hwy 435, 59 and 36. They have a licensed Arborist that will be on site. They are trimming the trees to the minimal legal height requirement.
